Jean Morée, LPC, NCC, CCTSI

With over a decade of dedicated experience in individual and couples counseling, I bring a wealth of expertise to guide you through your unique journey toward healing and growth. My clinical focus spans across various areas, including depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, borderline personality disorder, trauma and PTSD, substance abuse disorders and addiction, as well as challenges stemming from family of origin issues. Moreover, I specialize in supporting victims of domestic violence and abuse, offering a compassionate sanctuary for their recovery.

My therapeutic approach is characterized by eclecticism, drawing from a wide variety of modalities to tailor treatment to your specific needs. While I hold a strong foundation in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), I also integrate other evidence-based methodologies. These include Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), emotionally focused therapy, schema therapy, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and written exposure therapy for trauma.

I am deeply committed to ongoing professional development and stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in the field of counseling. My goal is to provide my clients with the highest standard of care, rooted in ethical principles.

As a military-informed clinician, I possess specialized training in the unique culture and challenges faced by military personnel and their families. This equips me to provide culturally sensitive and effective care to those within the military community.

Counseling services will be provided to individuals in Michigan, Missouri, Florida, and South Carolina via telehealth using the HIPPA-compliant version of Zoom.
